Wind Power Project Siting Workshop 2012- AWEA, Feb 28th
Diving deep into key siting topics, this two-day AWEA Wind Power Project Siting Workshop will address the relationship between proposed wind development and the potential impact on the surrounding environment. Exploring sound, visual impacts, stakeholder interests and wildlife interactions, the workshop program will discuss the legal implications of wind projects and alternative strategies to reduce environmental effects. This event also explains how to successfully navigate the wind project siting process. This event will allow collaboration between wind professionals, foster an environment where they can share successes and challenges, and give attendees additional tools and knowledge that can be applied directly after the workshop.

2012 Spring Energy Symposium, Mar 7th
Join us in a vibrant, educational setting for Western Energy Institute's 2012 Spring Energy Symposium, a multi-track conference for corporate services and customer connections professionals in the energy industry. The Symposium offers insight into leading-edge corporate strategies, customer communication practices, workforce development, information technology, regulatory impacts and energy efficiency best practices.
We'll officially begin on Wednesday evening with a Welcome Reception at 5:30pm. Optional networking opportunities will be available on Wednesday afternoon.
